Living an Ordinary Life

It's Sunday and I haven't gone to church since a century ago. I dont even care. I always tell my cousin Mitch that she would and should always go to church to fix her life. That is her favorite pastime now, fixing her life. It all just happend for her. She got a fight with her boyfriend. Then she got an indefinite suspension, then a termination after that. Her boyfriend brokeup with her for good and now she's waking up every morning just to convince herself that he and she were not meant to be. It's a really sad story. If only merely going to church could fix that, then it should have been easier.

I should make post about anything and everything good that has happend to me within the last few days..

Not much really, just living ordinary days. Who says living an ordinary life is not worth blogging? Hell, yes. How ordinary could it get. I dont know, routine stuff like waking up on the wrong side of the bed. Leaving the towel spread wet on the bed after taking a bath. Putting worn clothes anywhere where there is space. Smelling fresh clothes before wearing it (you should try it sometimes its definitely one of those things better than sex). Trying and fitting old shoes and matching it. Putting-on my jacket, helmet, gloves riding my scooter to work. Taking my first call, second call, third and so on. Having my yosi breaks and lunch at certain wierd intervals. Sometimes hanging around with some friends and then going home. At some other times I would drop by an internet cafe near our place to check a few internet stuff. Watch some TV, read my book-of-the-day-that-never-ends, eat afternoon snacks and the day is almost done. A few more musing at my old school radio checking on the most recent pop or jam hits, texting friends then going to bed.

First Load of Crap

Let's face it most blogs are full of crap! They wouldn't be interesting enough if they are not crap. It wouldn't really hurt that much if I have my own additions to them. It's 12:45 am and yes it's still a bit early for a bad day. This damn body is not able to move. This head hurts. These eyes wont even open up. I have the signs and symptoms of a highly motivated employee trying to get his butt up early for work. Shift starts at 2:00 am, and did I mention I am a call center agent. Yes I work for a lame high speed internet service provider in the U.S. but I'm located here in the Philippines. You already know what kind of work I have.

This is what ticks me off: no matter how hard you try to make it sound palatable (technical support and customer care representative) its still the same kind of crap. You still wipe people's asses and that's a fact. The more years you spend wiping people's asses the tougher you're supposed to get but what actually happens is that the more you wipe their asses the fouler it gets everyday. This is what I learned on my 2 years experience working in this industry.

Maybe I'm just exaggerating maybe I’m not. But frankly if you're human you could already smell the stink if you were in my place. I have nothing against call center agents in general but rather the nature of the job in itself. If it were not for the name of the company I'm working with I will not be staying here for this long... But for whatever it is stinking for I'm sure I could still stand it a little more.
